MONDAY, APRIL 6th


Year-Long Project: Discover Dairy Adopt-A-Cow

The boys have "adopted" a calf this year from a rural dairy farm and will be learning about farm animal care and wellbeing, sustainable farm management practices, and the dairy industry during 2024-25 school year.

Malachi: W is for WASTE (MARINE DEBRIS)

This week, we participated in Students for Zero Waste Week, a school-driven, week-long campaign to reduce waste with the theme "Go Green and Think Blue." The campaign is driven by U.S. National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of National Marine Sanctuaries.

Appointment: Endocrine Clinic for MALACHI at Seattle Children's Hospital (Seattle, WA)


Appointment: Respiratory Equipment Visit (home visit) for MALACHI with new homecare DME (durable medical equipment) company




WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9th


Social Group: AAC Social Group six-week session for MALACHI

Malachi's speech therapy center is hosting a weekly club for young, emerging AAC language learners. The kids participate in a story time activity and guided play while practicing using their device.

THURSDAY, APRIL 10th


Outing: Baby Story Time!

On Thursdays, Malachi and I take Deacon to a Baby Story Time program at our local library. It is hugely beneficial for Deacon to engage in the singing and dancing and to play with his peer group. Malachi enjoys the stories, too.
