MONDAY, JANUARY 27th
Appointment: Wound Care Clinic for MALACHI at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital (Tacoma, WA)
> Physical Therapy: Time in standing frame (15 minutes)
> Book: Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney
Appointment: Early Intervention / Birth-to-Three Intake Meeting for DEACON (tele-health appointment). Deacon will be evaluated to determine need for early supports in speech and language development in the coming weeks.
Outing: Afternoon hike and playground time at Tacoma Nature Center (Tacoma, WA)
TUESDAY, JANUARY 28th
Outing: "Monkeyshine" hunting at Point Defiance Park Rose Garden (Tacoma, WA). Monkeyshines are handmade glass orbs and similar items hidden throughout the city around the Lunar New Year. Read more.
Appointment: Medical Massage for MALACHI with private massage therapist (University Place, WA)
Online Group: Drum Circle
The boys have long participated in a weekly online drumming class with Drum to LEARN, a nonprofit organization. The instructor is a child development specialist who combines lessons in music and rhythm with social and emotional learning and literacy.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29th
Malachi: N is for NARWHAL

> Sensory Activity: Building a bird's nest with natural materials (dirt/mud, twigs, grass)

> Science: Make DIY nesting ball for birds -- We packed materials (natural fibers, hair, etc) into a grapevine ball and hung the completed nesting ball in a tree visible from our living room window to allow for continual observation over the upcoming months as birds begin to build their nests.
